Myles was born and raised in South Africa. At 19, he moved to the United States and studied at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He graduated with a BA in Economics 1998.

After graduation, he moved to Northern Virginia and started working for Cambridge Associates, a Financial Consulting Firm, as an Investment Performance Analyst. Myles specialized in analysis, tracking and reporting of multi-currency, and cross currency institutional investment instruments. 

After 8 years in the corporate world, Myles and his wife moved to Raleigh. Rather than enter the corporate world again, Myles decided to direct his analytical and business skills to his true passion - real estate.   

Real estate has offered him the opportunity to work directly with people and have a positive impact on a big, if not the biggest, decision of their lives.  His past experience in financial analysis has translated into strengths in evaluating real estate market conditions and helping buyers and sellers better weigh their options during a home search.
