Winmore

Winmore is located just ten minutes from downtown Chapel Hill and UNC Chapel Hill. Just a few minutes down the road is also Highway 1-40, which allows residents to have a short commute to Research Triangle Park, downtown Durham, and Raleigh. Winmore has been designed as a green as possible with community values and opportunities. There is a large multi-purpose athletic field surrounded by greenery and gentle hills, a walking trail that goes along Bolin Creek, multiple village greens, two playgrounds, and a paved walkway that leads to the Chapel Hill Greenway. There is also a community garden, some fruit orchards, and natural wetlands and 26 acres of open land that are home to different wildlife, including butterflies, birds, and deer. For even more greenery and recreational activities, Winmore is a quick drive to Chapel Hill's Homestead Park, which features additional playgrounds, two aquatic facilities, picnic tables, some soccer and baseball fields, and even an area for dogs. 

Residents of Winmore also have access to a community pool that includes a cabana area. Just down the street is a town center that hosts community events throughout the year, besides being home to specialty shops. The neighborhood is even close to Andy Griffith's old home. Winmore's homes range is size and craftsman styles, including single family homes and town-homes. The homes are newer construction as of primarily 2015 to 2017 and are not only greenly-built, but feature wide front porches, garden areas, and modern floorplans. Some homes even feature upstairs balconies.
