West Oaks
West Oaks was established from the late 1980s through 1990s; however a couple homes were added in the early 2000s, while many of the older ones have been beautifully updated. The homes were custom built by various builders, and many sit on more than one acre home sites. There are certainly no "cookie-cutter" homes in this neighborhood. They are all in different styles and may feature partially or fully brick exteriors. There are also varying elevations and lush forests throughout the neighborhood, offering residents privacy and beautiful, green yards.
Residents can enjoy the community amenities, which include a pool and tennis court. West Oaks is just eleven miles south of downtown Raleigh, which results in quick access to shops and entertainment, or short commutes to work. RDU International Airport is roughly sixteen miles away as well.
