Wendell Falls
Wendell Falls is a large neighborhood by Newland Communities that began construction in 2015, with additional homes being added up until mid 2019. It is an outdoor-focused neighborhood ten minutes West of downtown Wendell, and less than ten minutes from downtown Knightdale. The neighborhood's homes are connected through gorgeous walking trails and porch-lined streets. This master-planned community was built with the planet in mind, as the eco-friendly homes all meet high ecoSelect standards.
Residents can easily access and enjoy the neighborhood Farmhouse, which is a community center that features a pool, fitness center, playgrounds, and the Grounds Café. Residents can also enjoy the Tobacco Barn, a community gathering place that hosts events on its festival lawn that celebrate the history, culture, and agriculture traditions of North Carolina. These events may include wine tastings, farmers markets, concerts, and outdoor movie nights.
Wendell Falls residents truly have nature at their fingertips. Around twenty-five percents of the neighborhood is dedicated to preserved natural space. This allows residents to have access to beautiful nature trails and lakes for hiking, backpacking, camping, and fishing opportunities.
