Wayland Heights
Wayland Heights is an older neighborhood that's located inside the Raleigh Beltline, more specifically off Oberlin Road and Wayland Road. Some of the homes were built in the late 1920's to 1950's, though many have been renovated or rebuilt, and there are some new homes. The majority of the homes are built in a charming craftsman style with columns and classically Southern porches. There are traditional and open floorplans, and beautifully landscaped front and back yards. The neighborhood, being right near the Beltline, is just a few minutes from downtown Raleigh, shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Residents can enjoy the downtown Farmer's Market, museums, or downtown festivals that are hosted throughout the year. Wayland Heights is also 30 minutes or less away from Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest.
