The Oaks at Fallon Park
The Oaks neighborhood is conveniently located near Five Points, midtown, and downtown and blends seamlessly into the existing surrounding neighborhood.
Home prices have ranged from the high $600s to $1 million and were built by a select group of quality custom-homebuilders with one thing in common: the desire to make every home unique. The first homes were built in the fall of 2007 and the last of the 91 homes was completed in 2013.
The Oaks’ unique homes were carefully vetted by an Architectural Review Board to insure every custom-designed home included appropriate architectural detailing, the latest in energy-efficiency and low-maintenance yards. Houses also include convenient back-fed alleyways instead of front-loaded garages, in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood.
Extensive new sidewalks and landscaping, including more than 185 street trees complement the carefully-conserved existing trees. Other green measures in addition to all homes being Energy-Star certified, included the re-use of existing neighborhood streets and partnering with Wake County Habitat for Humanity to deconstruct the original Whitaker apartments, salvaging hardwood floors, cabinets, and more.
The Oaks at Fallon Park has redefined what living Inside the Beltline is really all about: little traffic; mature landscaping; and convenient access to Glenwood South, Five Points, midtown, and downtown. Residents can choose to stay home and enjoy neighborhood amenities or take advantage of the nearby Fallon Park and Raleigh Greenway. Sidewalks make it easy for children to walk to nearby schools and the whole family to stay fit.
