Sunset Hills is a large neighborhood located inside the Beltline behind Meredith College and Jaycee Park in downtown Raleigh. The neighborhood, though located in the city, is in a quite peaceful and wooded setting. Residents can enjoy walking, cycling, or walking their dogs along the wooded streets. This tremendous location is just a couple minutes away from all the restaurants, shops, and entertainment that Raleigh has to offer. NC State University, Saint Mary's School, William Peace University, and Shaw University are just a quick drive away from the neighborhood. Residents can also enjoy the museums and frequent festivals and events downtown, at the Red Hat Ampitheater, or the Raleigh Convention Center. Not to far away from Sunset Hills is access to Falls Lake, William B. Umstead State Park, and the Capital Area Greenway. Being convenient to the Beltline further places the neighborhood in an excellent location as Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest are just 25 minutes or less away.
