Preston
The Preston Community is a large mix of neighborhoods in Cary. It is built around the prestigious Prestonwood Country Club and 18-hole golf course. It has a great, central Triangle location, putting it roughly 10 miles from NC State University and downtown Raleigh, and just 11 miles from RDU International Airport. It is also about 15 miles from UNC Chapel-Hill and 20 miles from Duke University.
Since the late 90's, Preston has grown to 1,625 homes on almost 2,000 acres of land. The homes are in tradition, transitional, and contemporary styles in a golf course setting. There are beautiful wooded lots, tree-lined streets, and bike lanes throughout the community. There are also wide sidewalks making Preston a wonderful community to walk through. The majority of the most expensive homes can be found on cul-de-sac lots with views of the golf course.
