Milan Woods is a large, yet quaint neighborhood in Durham near the intersection of Highways 85 and 70. It is situated on the North-East outskirts of downtown Durham, about 12 minutes from Duke University, Duke Forest, and the Museum of Life and Science. Residents can enjoy this close proximity to the downtown area while having large yards and natural environment. Residents also enjoy close access to locally own shops, such as ice-cream parlors and bookstores. There are also fitness centers, a cinema, and multiple parks nearby. Chapel Hill and downtown Raleigh are roughly 30 minutes away. Though residents can enjoy a short, 15 minute commute to Research Triangle Park.
