Laurel Hills
Laurel Hills is one of Raleigh's most centrally located neighborhoods. Specifically situated in West Raleigh, it features hard to find, mid-century ranch style homes, though larger, new modern styles are increasing throughout, expanding the neighborhood. There is an HOA and even a Garden Club which are included in the activities of the neighboring subdivision, Glen Laurel. The HOA hosts multiple meetings and events throughout the year, including choosing "yard of the year" to encourage residents to keep the neighborhood looking beautiful and green.
There are multiple amenities, parks, and walking trails nearby, including the large Laurel Hills Park, access to the Greenway, and the Laurel Hills Clubhouse. Crabtree Valley Mall and William B. Umstead State Park are also just a short distance away from the neighborhood. Residents can also enjoy the nearby lake and playground. RDU International Airport and downtown Raleigh are just ten minutes away. Such quick access to Highways 540 and 440 also place Laurel Hills only twenty minutes from Research Triangle Park.
