Fairfax Hills
Considered by its resident’s as one of ‘Raleigh’s Best Kept Secrets’, Fairfax Hills subdivision is an enclave of approximately 180 single family homes with lot sizes averaging half an acre or larger. Residents have the choice of living in two-story, split levels or hard to find ranch style homes. The neighborhood has seen a revitalization since many homes were originally built in the 1960’s, ready for new owners to put their finishing touches on these solidly built homes.
Fairfax Hills is tucked away in the desirable Mid-town location off Millbrook and Falls of Neuse Roads in North Raleigh. Due to its close proximity to North Hills and wonderful location, builders have been purchasing some of these homes and building new construction.
The neighborhood is split into zones with assigned volunteer Ambassadors that help to welcome new residents. The Zone Ambassadors also help to foster the community. Fairfax Hills also boasts a neighborhood park, complete with a playset, picnic tables, an open field play area and even a community garden.
