Emory Woods Orchards
Emory Woods Orchards is a large, established subdivision located in South Durham. The community is comprised of multiple areas, including Emorywood Estates and Amber Hill Apartments. Residents can stroll the sidewalk-lined streets or hike the walking trails with views of quaint streams and ponds that surround the neighborhood. Nearby are several parks with downtown Durham and Duke University being just a ten minute drive away.
The homes throughout Emory Woods Orchards were largely built throughout the late 1990s through early 2000s; however, the subdivision has been expanded from 2012 onward. This wide timeline offers a variety of different home styles. There are many ranch and split-level styles, though also traditional two-story homes within the newer addition of the area. Many of the newer homes also sit on square, flat lots while the more established section of the community may include larger homesites.
