The Paramount
The Paramount is a condominium community located in Raleigh's Glenwood South—an area recognized as one of the city's most dynamic centers of night life, restaurants, museums, music venues, and other attractions.
Located at Johnson Street and Boylan Avenue, the Paramount's residential condominiums provide unique amenities that include a fifth-floor landscaped pool and sun deck, fitness center, community room complete with a billiards table, and expansive views of the city's skyline from many of its units. Reaching ten stories high with striking architecture, the building itself adds to the Raleigh skyline. Residents enjoy close proximity to destinations such as Cameron Village shops and restaurants, Glenwood South, Five Points, N.C. State University, and the heart of Downtown Raleigh's Central Business District. It's an ideal setting for people who enjoy contemporary living with downtown amenities and conveniences.
The Paramount is the work of Charlotte-based architect David Furman, a distinguished designer and recipient of the 25th Anniversary Builder's Choice Design and Planning Award. Furman designed the Paramount with 84 condominium units. The building steps down to integrate into the low-rise neighborhood around it, displaying a wealth of architectural detail, including a parapet-like upper level cornice and a modernistic tower to house the building's elevators. The Paramount has been recognized with a national architecture award for masonry design.
Living at the Paramount offers walks to fine dining and casual restaurants, shopping, museums, art galleries, music venues, and more. Standard amenities include 10-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, imported wood and tile floors, and private covered outdoor terraces. The building includes a large variety of one and two-story floor plans, each with private storage rooms, and secure entry and parking.
